In neighboring Shiga Prefecture, next to Kyoto, there is a fabric known as Omi cotton—made from a uniquely Japanese variety of cotton, carefully cultivated and spun into yarn. This gentle material is repeatedly kneaded before dyeing, creating fine wrinkles and a soft, airy texture reminiscent of a naturally worn finish.

During the final stage, the fabric is beaten and loosened before dyeing to develop a dynamic washer texture with movement. The unforgettable color that first captivated you is born from this very dyeing process.
