Adorned with auspicious motifs such as cranes and pine trees, shimmering gold-thread embroidery, and striking, vibrant colors, each uchikake is a beautiful expression of Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetics, created to grace one of life’s most special occasions.
With the hope that these beautiful garments can be worn and cherished once again, Koromo gives antique uchikake a new life by transforming them into clothing for today.

This time, we have transformed the beauty of the uchikake—a garment originally created exclusively for brides—into a Sukajan jacket, so that its beauty can be enjoyed by men as well.
