It is said that the grey heron becomes more nocturnal in winter, often seen by the water’s edge even at night, patiently searching for food.
Standing still with its long legs immersed in the cold water, waiting for its prey, the heron is seen as a symbol of patience and independence—a bird of good fortune.
I imagined that even such a dignified heron might sometimes find itself captivated by the moon reflecting on the river’s surface, beneath the clear winter sky—and that image inspired this design.
This light cardigan, made with our signature ID-twist yarn, serves perfectly as a thin inner layer without adding bulk, and can also be easily carried in a bag for versatile use. Even as the weather warms, a light cardigan remains a useful item to have on hand—one that will surely come in handy throughout many seasons.
