When you hear “tiger” from Koromo, you might imagine a fierce and powerful design — but this one is a little different.


The tiger drawn on the back has a charmingly goofy, almost absent-minded expression that makes it irresistibly endearing.

In traditional Japanese paintings, tigers have been depicted since the Heian period. However, because no one in Japan had actually seen a real tiger until the Edo period, artists were said to have drawn them while observing cats instead. As a result, many of these old paintings show tigers that are more comical and full of character than intimidating — and our design pays homage to that same spirit.

Made with a soft fleece-lined fabric and a relaxed, roomy silhouette, this pullover lets you layer comfortably and stylishly even in the colder seasons.
