How intense is the suffering, and how long does it continue? Scenes that should be terrifying are depicted instead with a strange sense of humor in these hell scroll illustrations.

The picture scroll discovered by the creator of KOROMO happened upon them by chance, after passing through many eras, eventually finding a new canvas in the form of clothing.

With generous room from the waist through the thighs to the hem, these pants are easy to wear. A subtle taper keeps the silhouette from feeling heavy, giving them a particularly sharp profile when viewed from the side.
