It is a land of old-world gentlemen, where vast natural landscapes—valleys and lakes formed during the Ice Age—remain preserved, largely unchanged to this day.
From these valleys, the Glen check pattern was born.
This is the very pattern seen on the suits worn by gentlemen imagined in silk hats, sporting moustaches and antique spectacles—an unmistakable symbol of classic refinement.
We have reinterpreted this gentlemanly check in an intentionally casual way, creating it as a shirt.
Composed of small checks that gather to form larger ones, this pattern—known in Japanese as murashima—retains its elegance no matter how it is broken down or reworked.
No matter the approach, its sense of refinement can never be fully concealed.
